We hope you will have a wonderful time and learn a lot about  medical fiqh. This course aims at introducing students to the principles and application of medical fiqh.

Students will be taught on the principle of medical treatment in the Islamic perspective and its implication on ibadah. Another objective is to train students to exercise problem solving method that is encountered in the medical practices in accordance to Islamic law and understanding.

The course will be conducted in Bahasa Malaysia. We hope everyone will benefit from it.

Course Information

By the end of the course you should be able to:

1. Describe the basic principles of medical fiqh and its role in the medical practice.
2. Demonstrate the accurate way to perform ibadah for patients and medical practitioners including wudhu', tayammum and solat.
3. Demonstrate the etiquette of medical practitioners towards dying patients and Islamic funeral rites in medical perspective.
4. Discuss the issues in fasting, body fluids, pharmaceutical products and their implications in ibadah.
5. Discuss the principles for interaction of opposite gender and contemporary issues in ibadah.
